The purpose of the pitch is to persuade the client to select your idea for production. The client will be assessing your communication skills including verbal, non-verbal (body language) and written skills.

- Plan your pitch and store all your preparation materials.
- Produce a proposal and presentation for the client. Ensure that your proposal is prepared using correct punctuation, spelling and grammar. Your presentation must be delivered using appropriate tone of voice. You must use appropriateterminology and explain what this means to the client.
- Rehearse your pitch in front of an audience of your peers and gather feedback. Use this feedback to amend the pitch, if necessary.
- Present your pitch to the client. The pitch will include all your planning considerations. Provide a copy of the presentation slides to the client. Include any relevant handout materials to support your pitch.
